Knock knock, anyone still here? I'm sooooooo sorry. Much much much has happened and is going on. For one we need to come up with a new name for kpuff she's slimmed down considerably (she's not ill or anything I think it's just cause she's more active). She's still not in school :(, I promise that will happen by her 2nd birthday which is next month!!
Mr. and I are no more, long long story don't want to discuss it on here so that's that.
Business has been quite good so thank God for that, I'm also working on pet project which I will share with you all soon, looking forward to that. My christmas and new year were fantastic both my sisters were around with their husbands/significant others.
For those of you who warned me, Kpuff has finally learnt to say "NO" as a result her favorite answer to everything is a loud "NO!!!!"....lol, we need to fix that.
That's about it for now, have a Happy Easter everyone!

I read your blog every now and then and just decided to check it out after a long time. My dear, I don't want to say sorry because I'm in the same boat although circumstances leading to separation may be different. For me, it is thank God I came out alive. What I'll tell you is God never fails.

Sorry to hear about your marriage which brings to the fore the recent increase in marriage breakdown amongst Nigerians.
I am particularly worried about this issue because I almost found myself in that position but I realised that the problems stemmed from the following:
a. High expectations of our spouses
b. Low tolerance for each other
c. Low tolerance for in-laws
d. A recent trend to apply western ideologies to Nigerian marriages (this doesn't work most time because most of us were born and raised in a different culture). This applies to the men who want to eat their cake and have it; or women who are financially independent and find it difficult to be submissive.
I believe you can still resolve these issues through prayers.

@anonymous...lol...low tolerance definitely sounds about right, not trying to make light of the situation though. It's wonderful that you could resolve issues with your husband, somehow I don't see that happening in my case, it's difficult to explain without going into detail which I don't want to do, thanks a lot for the advice though.
